AWS Certified Security — Specialty(SCS-C01)
I certainly did not want to underestimate preparation for certificate AWS Security. I have always felt weak in this field and the networking field, and my knowledge has always been below average. I will not lie to you. I have always avoided this field with a big detour, and I have always turned away from it whenever possible. Unfortunately, since I also wanted to learn something regarding AWS cloud security, I proceeded differently. During preparation, I realized there would be a public holiday on Monday and Friday in my country. I decided to take a vacation on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work one week at a time. I did not hesitate because one week was free on site acloudguru.
As I already mentioned, the first course that formed the core of my preparation was the course on page acloudguru. The page is quite well known. However, the friend recommended it to me during the AWS Security certificate preparation. The main advantage is that the course contains the part where you can verify your knowledge and skills, and you do not have to make an account on AWS or pay for running services. Simply put, the emulated background will be created on the page where it will get its name and password to the AWS console, and you can work. After taking the course, it is possible to absolve 65 questions that are not difficult at all. The questions make very basic of discussed topics everyone will take while going through the course. I recommend this course because I did not find any course on udemy that could make a quality preparation.
The second course is the course from site https://skillcertpro.com/. The site claims this course is exclusively taken from the last certificate exam. I can certainly say it is nonsense. I would mark the questions you will find when buying AWS Database as questions that can torment you while studying the very basics, what is a desirable effect for me. A person cannot move without the basics, and that is why every time I buy a course to have the good basics before I go through hard questions from the fourth source I take while studying for an exam. The negative of this page is that about 20 to 30 questions are not explained, and people must deduce the answer by themselves.
The third course is the complete core of my exam studying for me. I always bought a course by Jon Bonso on udemy. This course is undoubtedly worth all the money, and since I always successfully passed all the certificates with the help of this course, I assume every course from Jon has something about one. Solidly, the questions are hard in the same way or even harder than the ones in the test. Every answer to every question is explained well. Some answers are extremely detailed what is, of course, good for the one who wants to gain knowledge and not a certificate. Except for the detailed explanation, there are also questions for a more detailed study.
I was able to pass the exam and achieve 84 % with the help of the three mentioned courses. It is not 100%, so there is still room for improvement, but I was also relatively far from the failure limit.
