List of places:
- Stack Overflow
- Slack

Stack Overflow
Probably the most known page for asking a question for software engineers. If you do not have an account on the page you should sign in. The page helps you to solve problems. The logic is quite clear and please use the rules and style the question which you ask. First of all, before posting the question please check if someone asks the same or similar question which you want to ask for. If you did not find the same or similar question let’s go for it. Use the clearest questions as possible. By the title, many programs decide if they click on your question or not. Another important part is to style the question. Use bold or italic style, divide text with code and the most important part are tags. Based on these tags the community can help you. If you ask the question about react and you use a tag for .Net many people could ignore your question, or you will get not polite answers. Let’s sum up. If you want to create the question please check the similar question, second use style for your question, and second use appropriate tags.
Slack
During my college, I have met lots of guys with the same interest. Based on the same interest I became a part of many communities and I am grateful for that. If you do not know Slack, it is an application where you can become a part of many communities and ask questions. I have part of many channels such as TutorialsDojo, DockerCommunity, Kubecon, and many others. Trust me, during my preparation phases to AWS and Kubernetes certificates community help me understand many things and I am grateful for that. If you like to support the community and like to help other guys you will become a useful member of the community. I am not part of many communities but if you want to find a channel for supporting you it is quite simple. Type a wanted word with the slack word and you will find many links for that purpose.
Reddit is home to thousands of communities, endless conversation, and authentic human connections. Whether you’re into breaking news, sports, TV fan theories, or a never-ending stream of the internet’s cutest animals, there’s a community on Reddit for you. I use Reddit mainly for AWS communication. I am part of many communities where you can discuss daily problems, read articles, voting and so on. Even if it can look like the slack the Reddit has one feature which I love the most. Voting. Comments & posts can be upvoted or downvoted. The most interesting content rises to the top. In Slack, your question can easily be loose and no one can answer the question but if your question in Reddit has lots of Voting many people can notice your question and you will receive lots of attention.
Quora
Quora is a Q&A platform that empowers people to share and grow the world’s knowledge. People come to Quora to ask questions about any subject, read high quality knowledge that’s personalized and relevant to them, and share their own knowledge with others. Quora is a place to share knowledge and better understand the world. I use Quora for:
- Ask a question and get helpful answers
- Follow topics and browse quality content
- Learn from credible people with first-hand knowledge
- Answer questions and share your knowledge with the world
I used Quora for a while but I had lots of problems during the usage on my iPhone so it is the latest place where I find answers to my questions.
Gitter
Gitter is for me the newest place when I am facing some problems. My friends mentioned me, Gitter when we have been in the fitness center and I was curious about that. I gave a change to Gitter and I love it. The community is not big as a community on the Stack Overflow but you find people who share the same passion as you do. The difference between Gitter and other platforms is there is no need to set up any invitation service, there are public and private communities with unlimited people, message history, and integrations. During one week of using this application, I found lots of friends in my city.
If you have any questions or use valuable tools, applications or pages for similar purpose , I would love to hear about them. Have a lovely rest of the day. See you soon.
